Twin Lakes farm is a 600 acre working cattle & Hay farm, owned and operated by four generations of the Osborne family. The original owners, the Gathright family, settled on the scenic ridge in the 1700's. On the south side of the property is Gathright Creek, which empties into Floyd's Fork creek. The Gathright family cemetery, which can be seen from the barn, contains headstones dating back to their early days. Around the Farm are day lilies and DAFFODILS marking the original homestead buildings.
A wooden tobacco barn, built in the early 1900's, is located to the left of "the barn at Twin Lakes" and makes an ideal location for pictures. Upon entering the grounds through the stone pillars, one can see The Twin lakes on either side of the drive. The Road winds up the hilltop overlooking the lush green fields to "The Barn." the scenic view, the blackboard fences, and Lakes create a stunning background for your wedding.
